Charlotte studied ballet with former Joffrey Ballet soloist Pamara Perry, and performed in semi-professional productions and workshops of new works through high school. They studied musical theater performance at SUNY New Paltz, and performed extensively Off-Broadway with groups such as Barefoot Theater Company, The Theatre Project, and Rhinestone Gorilla Burlesque, in addition to becoming involved in independent film, both in front of, and behind the camera. She has studied Corporeal Mime with L’école Omnibus in Montréal, and improvisation with The Pit in NYC.
